I have worked in the water supply industry for forty years. I drink bottle water from a few brands after investigation of source. My job has taken me to work with more than 20 systems. I have came to the realization that no public water supply is safe 100%. I would guess that 98% of all water never touches a Human and its sole purpose is sanitation not drinking. Water treatment operators work tirelessly to produce water that meets all regulation and you would be surprised how many drink bottled water.

Hey,
That’s amazing. I would love to talk more about your experience/expertise if you like.
I agree, I think source verification is so important. I am by no means trying to stop the bottled water industry. I love it, I am all about sources. America has so many great ones we don’t even hear about.

There are some really great natural Spring Waters from around. It is so important to know the source of the waters you chose to buy. We would love the opportunity to show you some great brands right in our own back yard, America. Check out the site, http://www.salaciousdrinks.com.

Yes, a rip off. Not only that, but bottled water companies have tried to bankrupt small communities to FORCE them to give up their water source for little or no money. Bottled water companies refuse to stop pumping massive amounts of water in times of severe drought. Our precious aquifers here in Florida are being drained by the bottled water industry, while we homeowners are rationed. They are even putting meters on well pumps while the bottled water industry pumps millions of gallons for a mere $200 permit, good for 10 years or more. And many keep pumping for years… Read more »

Did you read my comment? I don’t have major brands. I know this company is a rip off but that wasn’t the conversation.

A rip off? So you make every product you use? Every time a consumer purchases something they are providing jobs, security. You don’t have to purchase if you don’t want to, that’s the beauty in choice. We stand behind the water companies on the site and some do great things for the world. I hope you do as well.

So you want to pay for it, even though you can just get it out of the tap at home, where you ALREADY pay the water company for it… just to give somebody money. Maybe they can get money ANOTHER way, by selling something we NEED.

So you’re claiming to make water? The water that falls out of the sky? No you make the packaging to put it in, helping consumers drown the planet in a sea of plastic for something they are already paying to get from the tap.

But still, people can’t afford to spend that kind of money for water, especially if it’s being consumed on a daily basis. 400 for a 4 pack or even 35.00 for a 24 pack? Jobs or not, it’s kinda crazy.

People will choose what they can afford. If it’s not for you, that’s okay but do not bash small businesses when you go and support large retailers.

People will buy everything, but you feel “cheated” because you cannot afford something. It’s life, continue to shop where you do.

You’re part of the problem Ashley. You shouldn’t have to pay for something that is fundamental to existence of humankind. You are also single handily contributing to the mass littering of the world. The bottled water industry is an absolute disgrace, american companies (quelle surprise) are at the forefront of this daylight robbery. How many companies have been exposed to use tap water now?
